“India biggest bet towards supremacy”

If it is one name that has become difficult to avoid in India's today's Political scenario, it is the magic man from Gujarat. No doubt, that the Modi- Mantra has taken the nation by storm. Although from all corners, he has been portrayed deliberately as Ravan, the man and his accomplishments are an example for the politicians across the country. This was not written to increase his vote bank, but rather wanted to convey how desperate that Young India needs a good leader and not just a Prime Minister.

Dr. Manmohan Singh’s nine years in the office, was not something India could have afforded in its crucial years towards development. Dr. Singh would be remembered as one of the best economist in the modern India. But sadly, he was never a prime ministerial material.  His silence to the endless scams, forbearance with corrupted ministers and politicians, and stillness towards declining economic growth makes him one of the numb prime ministers in recent times.

Although the country performed promisingly during the 2008 recession, stagnating reforms and policy paralysis has been casting doubt over its growth. Adding fuel to the fire, the Rupee depreciation and staunch regulatory environment is not acting well with the investors as many are threatening to pull out from the country.

There was never a big gap between the development phases that China had against India. But the aggressiveness of Chinese has been well portrayed by the development the country has shown to the world. China was not just a healthy competitor for India; it has always been a threatening rival. The frequent intrusions in to the borders, shows how China wags its tail to its Indian counterparts, who do nothing but whine. The current Indian prime minister has not only ill-famed his stature but also has remained largely idle, in the most decisive years of India’s rise to economic supremacy. So what is the correlation and India’s biggest bet?

Could Modi be the messiah of the wrecked Indian Ship?

Rahul Gandhi’s recent statements to his party workers “keep Modi pinned to Gujarat” shows, how much the fear of Modi has sinked in the congress camp. While Modi is definitely paying the prices for the past sins and has a huge challenge to show his secularity to his countrymen,  I can’t avoid admiring him for the service he has rendered not just to his state but to the whole country.

At a time when endless scams are being unearthed both in the political and in the business environment and when the country was devoid of an able leader, he stood by example. One prime example of many of Modi’s success stories is his turnaround in the Power sector. When he took over as the chief minister in 2001, Gujarat’s electricity board posted a loss of Rs. 2,246 crores. In a decade he has transformed his state in to the one which has surplus power, with innovative approaches and methods.

The man has aggressiveness, experience and vision for the country. It would be no wonder if Modi is selected as the Prime Ministerial candidate from the BJP Party. I believe he is the trump card for BJP to come in to power and India to attain the supremacy in 21st century. Narendra Modi is going to be India’s biggest bet, as he has shown the world, “where there is a will, there is a way”
